It is well-known that the wettability of a solid surface by a liquid is governed by two factors:a chemical component and a geometric component of the solid surface.'11 Super liquid repellency is crucially important in daily life and in industry.Several kinds of super water- or oil-repellent surfaces with contact angles larger than 150° have been realized by a combination of chemical and geometric approaches.'2"121 The main approach for the chemical factor is a coating of fluorinated compounds with low surface energy,whereas the geometric factor is governed by the formation of fractal or rough surface structures.
