摘要

The introduction of unsaturated groups into the backbone of polyolefins is of interest for many applications,including the production of vulcanizable materials for the tire industry.The ideal would be to copolymerize conjugated dienes(butadiene,isoprene)with olefins,which are all cheap and readily available monomers.Since the discovery of Ziegler-Natta catalysts,research efforts have focused on the copolymeriza-tion of these two families of monomers.However,as the two classes of monomers polymerize according to different mechanisms,only a very limited number of catalysts are able to copolymerize them successfully.
