Dendrimer self-assembly is a research topic of great current interest as it targets the preparation of relatively large three-dimensional structures with defined shapes and sizes which start from dendritic building blocks that already fall within the nanometer range.The self-assembly of dendrimers has been investigated by a number of groups who have taken advantages of pi-pi stacking.
