摘要

The selective oxidation of alcohols is one of the most important transformations in organic synthesis.Whilst several metal-based oxidizing reagents have been developed,these reagents usually require stoichiometric amounts of metal oxidants,and thus a large amount of waste is formed.In this respect,the oxidation of alcohols using molecular oxygen catalyzed by reusable heterogeneous catalysts is ideal from an environmental and atom-economical point of view.
