Ordered Mesoporous Copper Oxide with Crystalline Walls

There is intense interest in the preparation of mesoporous transition-metal oxides possessing a highly ordered pore structure with large specific surface area due to their possible application in areas including catalysis,sorption,chemical and biological separation,photonic and electronic devices,and drug delivery.Several mesoporous transition-metal oxides have been prepared,including TiO_2,ZrO_2,Nb_2O_5,WO_3,MnO_x Ta_2O_5,V_2O_5,NiO,CrO_x,Fe_2O_3,and Co_3O_4,although mesoporous copper oxides are of particular interest.
