Preparation of Cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene)-Based[2]Rotaxanes Without Flexible Glycol Chains

摘要

The emergence of supramolecular chemistry has stimulated contemporary chemists interest in interlocked compounds,such as catenanes and rotaxanes.Special attention has been paid to catenanes and rotaxanes incorporating the pi-electron accepting cyclophane cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenyl-ene)(CBPQT~(4+)),which gives rise to strong charge-transfer(CT)interactions with complementary pi-donor guest molecules.
