摘要

The control of eukaryotic gene transcription is dependent on the interaction of certain proteins called transcription factors (TFs) with specific DNA sequences.It is known that aberrant recognition properties in some of these proteins are at the origin of numerous diseases and,therefore,there is growing interest in understanding the molecular basis of their supramolecular behavior as well as in developing non-natural DNA-binding mimetics.
