The cyclopropanation reaction of electron-deficient olefins with Group 6 Fischer carbene complexes is a rather general and well-established process that was first reported in 1970.Alkoxycarbene complexes are able to transfer their carbene ligand to the C = C bond of alkenes,which are substituted by various electron-withdrawing groups(EWG).
