Catalytic Enantioselective Reformatsky Reaction with Aldehydes

摘要

The classical Reformatsky reaction introduced for the first time in 1887,consists of the zinc-induced formation of |3-hydroxyesters by the reaction of alpha-halogenated esters with aldehydes or ketones.Currently,Reformatsky reactions are defined as transformations that result from metal insertions into carbon-halogen bonds activated by carbonyl groups and subsequent addition of different kinds of electrophiles.
