摘要

Reversible trans-cis photoisomerization of azobenzene and its derivatives has been extensively studied and exploited as a photoswitch in numerous molecular systems and functional materials.Thermally activated cis-trans isomerization is also well understood,the rate of which depends on the substituents on the azobenzene and the environment surrounding the chromophore.
