The oil industry is facing increasing pressure to remove organic nitrogen compounds from transportation fuels (gas-oline,diesel,and jet fuels).Denitrogenation and desulfurization are accomplished commercially by hydrotreating using catalysts in reactors under high temperature and pressure.
