J.S.Miller Receives Utah Award of the ACS

In recognition of his achievements in the development,characterization,and application of new ferromagnetic materials,and the investigation of unusual carbon-carbon bonds,Joel S.Miller (University of Utah,Salt Lake City,USA) has been awarded the Utah Award by the ACS (American Chemical Society) Central Utah and Salt Lake Sections.The very first organic magnet and the first to work above room temperature were both synthesized by his research group.
