Fluorophosphazenate Ions: A Route to Complexation of Fluoride Ions

The incorporation of unions into molecular hosts is a very topical area of research in inorganic as well as organic chemistry. Attempts at the complexation of fluoride ions, however, have been relatively unsuccessful so far. We are endeavoring to achieve this goal by using multifunctional sulfur and phosphorus compounds.
