Asymmetric alkylations of electron-rich arenes such as indoles are of great importance for the synthesis of many natural products and pharmaceuticals.Hence,different approaches have been undertaken to develop catalytic enantioselective additions of indoles to a,p-unsaturated carbonyl compounds.
