摘要

Supported catalysts play a major role in many fields of chemical production and environmental protection, such as in automobile exhaust treatment.[1] In particular, noble metals are almost always dispersed on support materials of high surface area to expose a high fraction of atoms on the surface of the particles. However, particle growth at high temperatures, accompanied by a corresponding loss of catalyticactivity, is a serious problem in many applications.[2–4] This is caused by the increased mobility of the particles on the support at higher temperatures.
