摘要

Since the initial solid-phase synthesis of oligopeptides by Merrifield the use of polymers as supports, reagents or even catalysts for various reactions has increased. Recently a high level of activity has been devoted to this field due to the application of combinatorial chemistry to drug discovery. Although a resurgence of interest in polymers lor organic synthesis has been seen, little effort has been paid to defining the structural parameters of the supports. This is most evident for automated organic synthesis.
