摘要

The investigation of the synthesis mechanisms and the tailored synthesis of zeolites are areas of current interest in preparative inorganic chemistry. In the 1970s and 1980s many attempts were made to identify precursors in silicate solutions that would condense in the crystallization process to give the different zeolite structure types. In the 1990s the structure-directing potential of template molecules and self-organizing template silicate systems were seen as the key for the crystallization ofmicro- and mesoporous tectosilicate structures. We present herein a crystalline zeolite precursor, RUB-15, which was obtained in mild hydrothermal syntheses by using tetra-methylammonium cations as templates.
