It is well recognized that a reactIVe chemical fragment,which in its free state may be fleeting,not isolable,and difficult to observe,may sometimes be stabilized or trapped in an isolable form by coordination to a transition-metal center.Herein we report a unique ligand made of N_2 and PPh_2Me,which is stabilized in a cationic molybdenum complex.
