摘要

In this work, an integrated antenna switching architecture is presented for time-division-duplex millimeter-wave transceiver system in 60GHz. A two-stage LNA and a two-stage PA integrated together as antenna switch is fabricated on 65nm CMOS process. Unlike the conventional quarter-wavelength based antenna switches, in this work switching transistors or loss quarter-wavelength based transmission lines are used. Simply whole PA and LNA act as switching operation for TDD. Output matching circuit for PA and input matching circuit for LNA are designed such that the introduced loss- of the combination at the antenna port is lower than the conventional quarter-wavelength based switches theoretically. Moreover, there is less area penalty since there is no additional switch circuitry when compared with conventional methods, such as quarter-wavelength based. 2.9dB minimum noise figure (NF) in the RX mode is measured, and 2dBm of OP1dB is measured in the TX mode.
