摘要

To investigate the effect of atorvastatin on the expression of long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) and inflammatory factors in a DN model consisting of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) exposed to high glucose. Conclusions: High glucose can induce inflammation by stimulating the expression of MALAT1 in HUVECs. However, atorvastatin can reduce the expression of inflammatory cytokines by suppressing the expression of MALAT1, which may provide a potential target for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy and its inflammatory complications.
