Effects of emotion on the acoustic parameters in adults who stutter: An exploratory study

Highlights ? Fundamental frequency (Fo) did not differ between groups or across emotional conditions. ? Descriptive analysis revealed slower F2 transition durations across tokens and conditions in the AWS. ? AWS showed a larger F2 transition extent when speaking under arousing versus neutral conditions for some of the CV t tokens. ? AWS showed steeper slopes for 7 out of 12 CV t tokens when they performed under emotional conditions.
