摘要

Roots Power Machine can be used for lower grade waste heat recovery power generation device. But unstable gas source and the load change and other factors will affect the quality of the output power. In order to solve the problem, the paper designed the roots engine speed automaticcontrol system to realize the automatic control process of low temperature waste heat power generation. The core parts are PLC, vortex shedding flow meter, encoder and flow totalizer. The system modified the rotating speed in a closed-loop periodic and controlled dynamic change of the valveopening using the fuzzy control algorithm. Test results show that the fuzzy control system can automatically achieve stable speed regulation in 0.01 ~0.3 seconds, and maintain the control accuracy at less than 5% of the set value. The system has better stability, satisfying the stable powergeneration needs of roots engine waste heat generating device in the low quality gas source.
