German converter Sudpack acquires US-based Seville Flexpack Corp.

Germany-based flexible packaging converter Sudpack Verpackungen is establishing a manufacturing presence in North America for the first time with the recent acquisition of Seville Flexpack Corp. of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. It is reported that Sudpack intend to retain all Seville's employees and will continue to service its existing customers. Hitherto, Sudpack's representation in North America has been confined to a sales office in Chicago. Sudpack is looking for further expand its US business, reportedly including via more acquisitions.
