The cooling ceiling+fresh air system can meet the special requirement of ship cabin for low space more easily due to the advantages of cabin in space saving, low noise, high comfort, and so on. The application of the cooling ceiling+fresh air system to land building has been studied more frequently; however, very few investigations have been conducted on its application to the ship cabin. Therefore, the physical model of applying cooling ceiling and fresh air systems in different forms to ship conference rooms is established, in order to further analyze the fresh air supply mode that should be adopted in the application of cooling ceiling to ship conference room. Four fresh air supply modes for comparison include air supply by twist outlet, lateral air supply, air supply by round flat wind distributor, as well as displacement ventilation. In addition, the experimental study is also utilized to verify the reliability of the round flat wind distributor's air supply mathematic model. On this basis, indoor airflow distribution during the application of cooling ceiling and four different air supply modes is numerically simulated. Meanwhile, indoor temperature gradients along with predicted mean vote and predicted percentage of dissatisfied, air exchange efficiency and other indicators of different air supply modes are comparatively analyzed. The analytic hierarchy process is also used to comprehensively evaluate four air supply plans in the ship conference room applying cooling ceiling. According to the results, the displacement ventilation is the air supply mode that boasts the best comprehensive performance indicators, including thermal comfort, air supply efficiency, sewage discharge efficiency, and so on.
