Alliance Pipeline Answers Shippers' Misgivings About Tariff Proposals

In a response to protests, calls for a technical conference and pleadings for hearings, on 6/15/15 Alliance Pipeline LP (RP15-1022) defended a May 29 tariff filing with FERC. Protesters had jumped on the filing and requested that the Commission reject Alliance’s proposed deletion of (1) the provisions which provide additional Firm Transportation (FT-1) volumes as Authorized Overrun Service (AOS) with a higher priority than Interruptible Transportation (IT), and (2) the provisions which require Alliance to credit to FT-1 shippers all revenues from IT. Alliance did agree to make certain changes to its May 29 filing prior to moving the revised tariff provisions into effect.
