Still slow in northern Europe, busier elsewhere

Northern Europe continues to await the arrival of spring, applications to farmland, and a drawing down of stocks. So far, as springtime has yet to establish itself, relatively little fertilizer movement has occurred in the region. Nitrates prices have accordingly remained broadly steady. Meanwhile, Spain’s agriculture sector is still in crisis, but Italian application demand is picking up thanks to favourable weather.
