Urea buying the main focus

A wave of urea purchases has been prompted by the recent rains, the view that urea prices have bottomed out in the international market, and the ap-preciation of the euro against the US dollar. At least 38,000t of granular urea is understood to have been purchased over the last three weeks, with most February requirements now covered. Some last-minute buying is expected closer to the time of application.
