Urea moves up amid wet weather:France

Buyers stepped in this week to purchase fresh volumes of granular urea amid rising interna- tional prices. Around 10,000-15,000t is estimated to have been purchased this week for April/May delivery for applica- tion to maize. Wet conditions across the whole of the country have continued to dominate and delay fertilizer applications. With the forecast showing yet more rain for the next two-to-three weeks, it is unlikely that there will be a rush for product any time soon.
