AMF Boat Company of Tauranga h delivered a 9.5-metre rescue RIB to local unit of Coastguard NZ.with 4mm plate used for the deck and superstructure and 8mm used for the hull. Hypalon tubing is fitted around the hull, adding a metre of length to the vessel and resulting in a beam of 3.1 metres. A 0.5 metre draught enables shallow water operation and is a definite boon to the operators given that she is launched off the beach by trailer.
