Germany lubricants use up in February on process oils boost - BAFA

LONDON (ICIS)--Germany's total lubricants demand was pushed up in February 2018 by rocketing use of process oils, according to new data from German trade ministry BAFA (the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control) late on Friday. Close to twice the amount of process oils (92%) was used than in the previous February. This led to an overall increase in lubricants use year on year, despite a slump in demand recorded for the base oils total.
