Zur Morphologie des Makrophyten Stratiotes aloides L.(Krebsschere)

The macrophyte Water Soldier (Stratiotes aloides) is an endangered species in Germany. Using plants occurring in the ditch systems of the valley of river Weser near the city of Bremen, drawings were made of the plants habit and its organs. They are published in this paper. In the ditch system of Bremen marshland one of the recent main occurrence of the Water Soldier in Germany is to be found.
