The quantities ( on material base ) of manganese ores exported by Brazil in January - February of 2011 as well as in a single month of February were as per the table shown below. Namely, Brazil exported 100,000 tons in total of manganese ores in February of 2011, which had a substantial decrease of 58.0% compared with that ( 238,562 tons ) in the previous month of January and consisted of <> medium and high grade ore ( with Mn 39% min. ) : 1,366 tons ( nil in January ) and <> other ores : 98,910 tons ( decreased by 58.5% from that in January ).
