PetroChina Co. Ltd. plans to use multistage fracturing to produce the tight gas sands in its Changqing field in the Ordos basin, according to Baker Hughes Inc. Baker Hughes said that it will supply PetroChina with 77 Frac- Point multistage openhole frac-completion systems for the hori- zontal wells in the field, similar to the systems successfully used last year in Sulige gas field, also in the Ordos basin.
