A Traceless Vascular-Targeting Antibody-Drug Conjugate for Cancer Therapy

Monoclonal antibodies have demonstrated considerable utility in the clinical treatment of cancer, but unmodified immunoglobulins are rarely curative, especially when used as single agents. Thus, there is considerable interest in arming antibodies with bioactive payloads (e.g., drugs, radionuclides, cytokines), to improve their potency and selectivity, thus increasing activity at the tumor site while sparing normal tissues.
