New Members and Foreign Associates of the National Academy of Sciences

The US National Academy of Sciences recently 3lected 84 new members and 21 foreign associates in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. We congratulate the new members featured here, as well as John F. Hartwig (University of California, Berkeley), Francois Diederich (ETH Zurich),and Vivian Wing Wah Yam (University of Hong Kong), who were recently featured in this section.
