摘要

α-Ketoamides are important units in biologically active molecules, synthetic drugs, and drug candidates (Scheme 1). Furthermore, they serve as useful precursors for a variety of functional group transformations. Conse-quently, lots of effort has been made to construct α-ketoamides. Among these methods, amidation of a-keto acids and α-keto acyl halides (Scheme 2, l), oxidation of a-hydroxyamides and a-aminoamides, transition-metal-catalyzed double carbonylative amination of aryl halides, oxidative coupling, and other methods (Scheme 2, 2) have been widely used.
