摘要

Graphene has attracted extensive attention in recent years because of its striking mechanical, optical, and electrical features. This single-atom-thick material is a gapless semiconductor and exhibits electron mobilities reaching values of up to 10 000 cm~2V~(-1)s~(-1) at room temperature. In fact, this is the basis for a myriad of applications, especially in the area of photovoltaics, either in the form of a transparent conducting electrode or an active component in combination with appropriate organic counterparts such as conjugated polymers.
