摘要

It is well-known that certain octahedral coordination compounds with electronic configurations from d4 to d7 can undergo spin crossover (SCO) between high-spin (HS) and low-spin (LS) states. The spin state, and consequently the color, size, and magnetic properties of these SCO systems can be tuned through external stimuli such as temperature, pressure, light, magnetic fields, and guest absorption/desorp-tion.
