摘要

The catalytic synthesis of chiral amines is important in the rapid and selective assembly of useful building blocks for the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and fine chemical industries. Recent research efforts have focused on the addition of N-H bonds across C-C multiple bonds, the hydroamination reaction. An emerging alternative approach is the α-alkylation of amines, the hydroaminoalkylation reaction, which is a catalytic C-C bond-forming reaction a to a nitrogen atom. The α-alkylation of amines is a complementary catalytic strategy for the synthesis of amines that is 100 % atom economic.
