摘要

The use of microwave energy to enhance chemical reactions is growing at a rapid rate; new and innovative applications in organic and peptide synthesis, polymer chemistry, material scioences, nanotechnology, and biochemical processes are ling reported continuously. In many instances, microwave irradiation has been shown to dramatically reduce processing times, increase product yields, and enhance product purities or material properties over that reported for conventionally processed experiments.
