Flipping Marvelous: New Zeolites by New Methods

Zeolites are among the most valuable of inorganic materials, finding extensive use in a wide variety of applications, such as catalysis (particularly in the petrochemicals industry), in separations (notably N2 and O2 from air), as ion exchangers (e.g. as water softeners in detergents and elsewhere), and as adsorbents (desiccants). They are produced at the rate of millions of tons a year.
