The resolution of enantiomers by Dutch Resolution involves the use of an equimolar mixture of two or three structurally similar and homochiral resolving agents.Two major factors contribute to the success of the method.First,the structurally similar resolving agents often form a non-stoichiometric solid solution of crystals.
