摘要

Two-dimensional rigid structures have received increasing attention in materials science,both in basic research and industrial application.For example,polymer-clay nanocom-posites have been investigated thoroughly with regard to their stiffness,strength,thermal stability,and gas and liquid permeability.Uniformly disk-shaped synthetic clay platelets (e.g.Laponite RD,d approx = 25 nm) have also been analyzed recently in order to understand fundamental physical and chemical aspects of polymer-clay composite materials.
