Reply to 'Recently Reported Crystalline Isothiazole Carbenes:Myth or Reality'

I he comments and results of G.Ber-trand and co-workers in their communication to our recent report on stable isothiazole carbenes are an important contribution to the understanding of carbene reactions.In particular,their findings on a rapid transformation of our isothiazole carbenes into the 2-imino-2H-thiete isomers demands revision of our results.To our knowledge this reaction type has been found in isothiazole chemistry for the first time.
