SOUTH AMERICA SPOTLIGHT: BOLIVIA Bolivia to Boost Gas Supply to Argentina

Spanish oil firm Repsol YPF is in talks with Bolivia to boost the output of the Margarita gas field sevenfold, according to Repsol's Exploration and Production Director Nemesio Fernandez Cuesta. The company will probably increase production at the field in Bolivia's southern Tarija region to 494 MMcfd (14 × 10~6 m~3/d) from a current 70 MMcfd (2 × 10~6 m~3/d).
