摘要

Growth, biomass, carbon and nitrogen accumulation in Alblzla procera (Roxb.) Berth, 4 years age was in order of irrigation > pruning > pruning with root barrier. The growth of pure tree was significantly (P =<0.05) less than that of agrisilviculturesystem but height of pure tree was slightly higher than pruning and/or root barrier. Btomass, carbon and nitrogen accumulation in naturally grown trees was greater as compared to pruning of trees upto 70% plant height irrespective of crop sequence, rootbarrier and irrigation. The accumulation of biomass and carbon in different components of tree was in order of main bole > root > branch > leaves under pruning of trees upto 70% plant height and accumulation of these substances in naturally grown trees was in order of branch > root > main bole > leaves. The nitrogen accumulation in leaves and root was greater than main bole and branch. Pruning associated with root barrier significantly accumulated less nitrogen than pruning without soil barrier and naturally grown trees.
