摘要

A decision support system for crop and water management called CSWM (Crop System and Water Management) model was developed and used for agricultural planning with emphasis on sustainable agriculture in the rainfed areas through the use of small farm reservoirs for increase production and resource conservation and management. The study was carried out using data from the Philippines. Four sets of data representing the different rainfall classifications of the country according to Corona's method were collected, analyzed, and used as input to run the model. Through the analysis, useful information was obtained to determine cropping schedule and pattern appropriate to the specific climate conditions. In addition, optimization of the use of land and water resources can be achieved in areas partly irrigated by small reservoirs.
