JAN EDITOR'S NOTE Online Open

In this issue we are publishing the first JAN paper that is going Online Open (Giske & Artinian 2008, pp. 22-31). Papers published under this scheme immediately become available for open access, through Blackwell Synergy, to any internet user in any part of the world, and both viewing and downloading are free of charge. The print version of Giske and Artinian's paper, as you will see, is branded as an 'Online Open' paper to draw attention to its 'open access' status
