Easley (2007), in her article 'Harmony: a concept analysis', states that nurses should be able to 'feel the air, sing the song, dance the dance, and play the part' (p. 555) in their clinical setting to promote harmony for patients. Easley has created a delightful analogy to ease the tension that nurses sometimes experience in providing spiritual care with and for their patients. She also reminds us that harmony is not created in isolation. Nurses would do well to remember Easley's harmony when administering spiritual care
