My Quintrex 420 Dory is a basic boat, understandable as manufacturers strive to keep costs down. It's powered by an electric start 30hp Evinrude E-TEC outboard that powers it along at a fair pace and does the job nicely. In its natural state the interior was also pretty basic with no anchor storage, and very little stowage. However, with the help of a local alloy fabricator (Mareeba's K-Craft Alloy) I've been able to custom the boat to suit my needs. Thanks to Kim of K-Craft the boat now has a raised, carpeted floor and all the stuff I need aboard. He made the support struts to take a floor, anchor well and some hand rails.
